About Testing
Most test sites provide tests for people who are experiencing COVID symptoms or who have been exposed to a COVID patient.
Some sites also provide tests to others in the community. Asymptomatic testing is especially important if you are exposed to many people, or if you live or work in an area in which COVID is common.
Many test sites accept most health insurance without fees or copay requirements, and many also provide free testing to people without insurance.
Contact your location in advance to check on costs; if you do not qualify for free testing, out-of-pocket expenses can be considerable.
Most sites provide testing for children, but very young children may not be eligible for testing. Check with your site for details.
